This is us with one of my best friends, Melanie, and her husband, Jake. They are moving from Washington back to Rexburg so that Jake can finish school. We ate at this great Thai restaurant by their house last night. I am sad to see her go.

So after 2 years I finally gave in to Jaymie and got her a gingerbread house kit. After all, I think that she did a pretty good job.

Here is my YW class. They came over tonight for our activity and we drank hot chocolate and ate Christmas cookies. We each told our favorite Christmas stories and traditions. It was so fun! They are my favorite teenage girls!

Our Thanksgiving Picnic Feast

This is the spread that my lovely Jaymie thought she had to make for us. We could have fed an army, but because we have no friends to share it with we will become overweight. I think that she did this just to show me that she can cook. haha. Our table is in use in the other room so we ususlly eat on tv trays. In this case we used the floor, picnic style, because of the amount of food.
We definitely have a lot to be thankful for this year. I have been blessed with an awesome wife. I know that the Lord hand picked her for me. She is perfect in every way. We have both been healthy and well. The whole economy thing has not hurt us too bad. We have saved a lot of money because we are blessed with two good jobs and late last night when we were watching season five of 24, it is great, the admissions director of Drexel University called me and offered an early acceptance invitation to their Physician Assistant program, so unless another great offer comes our way in the next few months, we will be relocating to Philly in September of 2009. I am also thankful that the Lord let the Cowboys win.

Well, we just went to my holiday party at the Seattle Aquarium. It was pretty fun. The food was alright but the fish and sea otters were real cool. I liked walking around the place looking at the different animals more than mingling with the people that I work with. Dont yall think that Jaymie looks HOT with her new hair cut.

Here is what Justin looks like as a 30 year old blowing out his candles. Happy Birthday Justin! Today is also the anniversary of our engagement (our friend Laura reminded us of that tonight)!
Here we are eating at our favorite sushi restaurant for Justin's birthday. The credit card machine was broken, so to kill time while someone was fixing it, the hostess took a a couple of pictures for us.

Can't Wait For the Second Coming

According to my beliefs there wasn't much good that came from the election on the 4th, but one good thing that did is that Prop 8 passed in California. I saw this picture on Fox news and just pissed me off. I am so sick of gays and lesbians and their protests. Sorry if that offends you, but don't read my blog. Have they never read Genesis 19? They need to!!! God destroyed that city and the wicked people therein because of the things that were going on there and will do so again during the second coming as told in the book of Jude and Revelations. When you start to bash my church it becomes personal. I feel sorry for all of those people that support and condone this type of activity. This is not my judgment it is the Lords! see Revelations 20:12.

Fall Colors Are Here

Fall Is Here in The Northwest

We drove up into the mountains today because we started to see some colors changing in the city. Now I am a picture slut and will take pictures of just about everything that I can so here are some pics around the area of Stevens Pass and beyond. Sorry if some look blurry, I was taking them from the car while I was driving.

Big Maple Trees with bright red leaves.
This is the Wenatchee River in the back ground.

Trip to Vancouver

While we were in Vancouver there was a sweet public market on Granville Island. It rivals the Pike Place market in Seattle.

While we were there we ate at this restaurant called Sammy J Peppers. It was really good. After dinner we had a little contest to see how much hot sauce we could handle. This place had tons of different kinds but we had our server bring out the 4 hottest. This is the order left to right from least to the hottest. But remember that the least would still light your mouth on fire. Scorned Woman, Crazy Jerrys Brain Damage, Black Widow, and Da Bomb.

This one was the hottest. It is for sure the hottest one that I have ever had in my life. It made all of us sweat and cry. Plus the burn was a constant for about 30+ mins after we left the place.

Trip To Vancouver

Well we went to Vancouver with Jaymies family. Tim and his wife Brittany, me and Jaymie and her brother Brad.
This was a really cool free park there with waterfalls and hiking trails but the highlight was a sweet suspension bridge.
Of coures this was in canada, so we found a maple leaf ABOOOOUT the size of Jaymies head. HAHA! It was the largest leaf that I have ever seen.
Here was me and my baby in front of the river at the bottom of the bridge.
