Have you ever wondered?

Have you ever wondered where all those fall leaves go once they fall from the tree?
Starts with the beautiful colors shown in the above picture
Then goes to this
Then to this
Then into the truck, so the leaves are taken away by the city. Growing up, everyone I knew raked once, put leaves into some trash bags & that's it. In Philly, there are so many deciduous trees that the leaf cleanup is a 2 month process. Crews have come to our complex every 2 weeks since October to cleanup. Homeowners just rake their leaves to the curb on leaf pick-up days, so you see these big leaf piles on the sides of the roads everywhere.

We had a great Thanksgiving! Very delicious & relaxing!
As a bonus we got our first snow fall this season! It wasn't very much, but I was happy! I love all 4 seasons & the characteristics of each one! I love and flowers & trees blooming in the spring, swimming & being outside on a warm summer day, the gorgeous autumn colors, & the glistening of freshly fallen snow!
Looks like winter is knocking at the door. Soon you will find me curled up in slippers & a blanket watching a good movie & drinking hot chocolate! Time to break out the winter gear and do some sledding & snow boarding!

Patrick raked today. We got 12 bags, and hevstill didn't get them all. Raking to the street would be nice. Enjoy the snow.

Boston was the same way. The people I worked for hired people to take care of all the leaves. At first I thought they were crazy because I remember raking all the leaves as a kid.....But when they drove away with a truckload of leaves. I understood! I do love the season!!!! Just not the aftermath. (If you're the one cleaning it up!)
