Doctor's Visit (an adventure)

I finally had my first doctor's appointment in Philly. I had one scheduled 2 weeks ago, but our insurance was messed up, so I had to reschedule. Anyway, the baby and I are both doing well! His heart beat is perfect at 150 and I am 2 cm dilated. From what I've been told, you can be 2 or 3 cm dilated for a couple weeks before labor starts, so really this just means I am on my way. There was one problem. My blood pressure was too high the first time they measured it. My PA agreed with me that it was due to my stressful morning. I am still unfamiliar with most of Philly, so I use the GPS all the time. I accidentally typed in the wrong security code when I turned on the GPS, so it locked up. I turned it off and back on and that didn't work, so I Mapquested the route. I was half way to my doctor's office when I realized Mapquest was taking me on a toll road (I hate that about the northeast). Justin took the last of my cash, so I turned away from the toll booths and headed back toward the previous exit. I pulled over and texted Justin about how to fix the GPS. Once he responded, I was on my way (or so I thought). Now about 5 minutes from the office, one of the roads was closed. The GPS took me on a long detour, but I finally made it to the office (only 5 minutes late). Thankfully, my blood pressure was back to normal by the end of the appointment.

Philadelphia outing

So we took a little time off on saturday to go explore the city sites that we have not seen. Of course we had to pay tribute to the Great Rocky.
Here we are, but jaymie would not raise her arms in the air. But, we did see many people running up the stairs looking like dorks.
Here is a pic of Jaymie at 37 Weeks. Wow i am pumped!

This is the Schuylkill River and a famous little stretch called Boat House Row. It is a bunch of nice old houses that house a bunch of crew teams.
We then walked to the art museum and walked around the grounds cuz it cost 15 bucks to get in, per person. There was a ton nice architecture and detail work on the building.
Here is the front of the building. The actual building feels like it is made of sandstone.
Some more of the cool art work.

New Apartment

Here are pictures of the main room of our apartment. It's the only room that is all finished. The baby's room is almost done, but it needs a few finishing touches and our bedroom still needs a lot of work! More posts to come.

Little Guy Stuff

So today my Dad, Tom, and I went to go shoot some guns. Man did we have a good time. I felt like Rambo out there shooting the AR-15. Can you tell which one I liked the best?
This is me eying in on my target. Surprisingly I really tore it up with this gun even when hitting some rapid fire shots.
The arsenal. All of these are my dads but the AR-15.

This is from the day before when my parents and us went to the Ranger game. It actually was their 37th anniversary.
This is us, and the Rangers won!!!
Nice sunset at the game.
We also had a sweet view of the new cowboys stadium. Wow is that thing big! This is the first time that I have seen it.

During our move

During our trip across the country we went down to Houston to see my sister and her little girl. She is really cute and seems to be a good baby.
We then went a little further down the road to see Donnie and Laura in Galveston. It was nice to see them. We really haven't seen them for almost 2 years.
After dinner we walked on the beach and had a good sunset.
And I thought I would throw in a preggar picture of Jaymie. She is so cute! I think this is at 33 weeks so not much longer.
