Give me a break

First, Easton is in a phase where he has to get into everything. A few days ago he swatted a jelly jar out of my hands and the jar shattered leaving glass & jelly all over the floor. It took forever to clean up. In this picture below he spilled my cereal all over the floor. It doesn't look too bad, but this is only 1/4 of the floor. The Kix spread pretty evenly across the kitchen. While I was trying to pick the Kix up, Easton was walking around crunching them (I hadn't poured the milk yet, so they were very crunchy). While I was still cleaning he got into something else, so I put him down for a nap and took a break from cleaning.

Well, as you can see below, Justin broke his wrist. He is supposed to have surgery in the next few days and then be in a soft cast for a couple weeks. We are hoping that things go smoothly, so that he will not have to take time off school and extend his program.

White Shirt, White Snow

Easton opened the closet door the other day and pulled Justin's white shirt out of the hamper. He walked up to me with it wrapped around his neck like a towel. I thought it was so cute, I just had to take a picture!
The Northeast was hit with a pretty big storm. We got about 5 inches in our area. Easton enjoyed playing in the snow (at least for about 5 minutes until he was covered in it)!

Holiday Joy

We had so much fun in Colorado and Texas for Christmas! Both our parents and families did so much for us! Thank you!

Below is a picture of me with my sister and brother. We went out to eat in a restaurant in this outdoor mall that was all lit up for Christmas and if you look closely, you can see ice skaters behind us.

In Dallas, we went to a hockey game with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. We had a blast! Thanks for the tickets Jami and Patrick!
One of our nieces, made gifts for everyone. It was so sweet of her!
Here are two of our nieces on Christmas morning
We went to this huge hotel outside of Dallas one day called the Gaylord Texan. It was amazing inside and it had some great Christmas decorations!

It had these pretty gardens and landscaping all throughout the lobby.
The gingerbread house behind us is real. Check out the ingredients list below:
We got to see two of our closest friends! It had been way too long and we enjoyed hanging out with them! Hope to see you guys again in summer 2012!
