Fall Colors Are Here

Fall Is Here in The Northwest

We drove up into the mountains today because we started to see some colors changing in the city. Now I am a picture slut and will take pictures of just about everything that I can so here are some pics around the area of Stevens Pass and beyond. Sorry if some look blurry, I was taking them from the car while I was driving.

Big Maple Trees with bright red leaves.
This is the Wenatchee River in the back ground.

Trip to Vancouver

While we were in Vancouver there was a sweet public market on Granville Island. It rivals the Pike Place market in Seattle.

While we were there we ate at this restaurant called Sammy J Peppers. It was really good. After dinner we had a little contest to see how much hot sauce we could handle. This place had tons of different kinds but we had our server bring out the 4 hottest. This is the order left to right from least to the hottest. But remember that the least would still light your mouth on fire. Scorned Woman, Crazy Jerrys Brain Damage, Black Widow, and Da Bomb.

This one was the hottest. It is for sure the hottest one that I have ever had in my life. It made all of us sweat and cry. Plus the burn was a constant for about 30+ mins after we left the place.

Trip To Vancouver

Well we went to Vancouver with Jaymies family. Tim and his wife Brittany, me and Jaymie and her brother Brad.
This was a really cool free park there with waterfalls and hiking trails but the highlight was a sweet suspension bridge.
Of coures this was in canada, so we found a maple leaf ABOOOOUT the size of Jaymies head. HAHA! It was the largest leaf that I have ever seen.
Here was me and my baby in front of the river at the bottom of the bridge.

Probably one of the coolest things about Georgia is the Spanish Moss. It is so cool but kinda scary at night. When I was on a city tour the guide said that Savannah is one of the most haunted cities in the US b/c of all of the slaves that were killed there back in the day. Oh and the moss is cool but you should not touch it because there are tons of chiggers in it. They suck. I know from experience.

This is in Forsyth Park in Savannah. It was really pretty. This fountain is dyed green during St Pattys Day. Someone said that they have the second largest St Pattys Day parade in the US. Over 300000 come in to this small town.

Dawsons Creek

This is a canal in the tidal grass lands. It was kinda like Dawsons Creek. Or at least that is what it reminded me of.
